Harlequin Wines, established in 2000, is a company dedicated to quality. The wines we choose appeal to the discerning wine lover. Our philosophy is simple. Search long and hard to find the new, unusual and the delightful. Then dealing direct with the wine-makers we can ensure quality, and value for money.

The idea for Harlequin Wines came during a visit to the Franken region of Germany . It is a region that does not feature very heavily in most wine merchant's lists - why? Because the sales within Germany themselves are extremely high. So we started selling wines of the Franken region of Germany . This region remains our speciality. Now we source and have greater sales of French wine. Next year we will add Italy to our portfolio.

As many of you will know, at Harlequin Wines we contact our customers when each new wine selection becomes available. An informative newsletter accompanies each selection from Martin, who gives that little bit of extra information on the origins of the wines. We aim to source wines of character and quality, which we feel represent outstanding value for money.

Ordering cannot be simpler. An order slip is attached in our mailing or can be printed from the web site. Payment is made by cheque, credit or switch cards. Delivery will be made shortly after order.

Harlequin Wines has been set up to cater to a select number of like-minded wine enthusiasts. We have found that many mail order companies offer very ordinary wines, and did not cater for people who were looking for quality, interest and value for money.
