Warren Edwardes who set up and runs Hyde Park Wines has often won
wine tasting competitions and was the winner of the Pol Roger Cups
in 2004, 2010 and 2012 for blind wine tasting chaired by Jancis
Robinson as part of the London Business School Alumni team. He is
also founder of Wine for Spice created to provide a range of wines
to drink with curries and spicy food and is globally recognised as
the leading expert on matching wine with curry.
Edwardes is a founding member of and was the first Chairman and again
2011 Chairman of ASDW - The Association of Small Direct Wine Merchants.
He was appointed as ASDW's first non-executive President in 2013.
Edwardes was formerly a banking innovation and risk consultant with
Delphi Risk Management and merchant and investment banker and corporate
treasurer and author of the best-seller "Key Financial instruments:
Understanding and Innovating in the world of Derivatives"
